Faith based poet - Inspirational author
My Poetry, My Story
My writing is spiritual in its core, but covers a host of topics. My portfolio includes poetry for children. I write poems that relate the spiritual to everyday life and the relationships we have to one another.

Jeremiah 9: 23-24 ESV Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, 24 but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”

Past & Present
A push from God through a series of meeting encouraging people brought me into the place where i am eager to share my writing with others.
Sharing out loud what had been hidden for so long makes me want to learn and grow in my art. So critique groups and classes brings me to today.
I am, now, an award winning poet. I have worked hard and have been rewarded with recognitions I never dreamt possible, yet, God had a plan.
I continue to seek His glory
through my writing. He has led me to
a new adventure in writing a book
leading new parents and grandparents
to pray for their unborn children in their relationship to God. This book is now looking for a publisher. I hope to soon have Covered in Prayer in the hands of readers.

Today's Vision
God is the central figure in this book. God keeps a watchful eye on every person, and from conception He demonstrates a desire for a relationship with each new life. First Moments, Pregnancy Prayers & Ponderings takes parents and other family members on a prayer journey through the pregnancy calendar that enlightens what is taking place in the shadows of the womb. Through opportunities to pray for the new baby, and the family these prayers can lay a firm spiritual foundation for the baby’s future,

Just as we grow physical capabilities in the womb and beyond, we also grow spiritually. Those who pray for the unborn can use the information from the pregnancy calendar to pray for the physical health of the baby and take it to the next step to pray for their spiritual growth.

It is my hope that as the parents practice praying in this way for their child, they will build a habit that will be passed down to the next generation. Building a prayer life within the church body for the unborn will also extend to others contemplating abortion. Prayer in the right direction can save lives.

Every baby is conceived in love, God’s love. First Moments, Pregnancy Prayers & Ponderings is a Christian living devotional style book God’s presence with the unborn is a vital truth that makes all life precious. Prayers lay the groundwork for a healthy spiritual life and begins in the womb just as it does for physical health.

This book takes the reader one step closer to a relationship with our Creator God and Heavenly Father.

Future Visions
God only knows where my words will go. He knows who will hear and be inspired or impressed by them. My prayer is that God will make a way that those who need them most will have access to them. I pray that my words will lead to the Word and that through them Jesus will be known.
For now, my future is in His hands. My work will continue to be seeking Him and His truth and then choosing the words that will touch others.

Psalm 139:1-6
Lord, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.
